When we found an unknown project with the annotation “Stryjeńska” in the Gliany archives, we knew that it was a unique find and we had to weave it as soon as possible. The art project was masterfully translated into a technical coupon by proffessor. Szulga and thus we breathed new life into this pre-war project. The geometrized pattern seems to represent birds that return to Ukraine and Poland after winter, just as kilims return to our homes after years of oblivion.
