The masters of kilim art have always been able to cause a stir, at least on fabric, and the Torrents of Spring kilim is certainly no exception to this rule. Although the identity of the designer has been lost in the mists of history,, the ripple effect remains. The pattern is full of slanted lines, sharp angles and zigzags interspersed with flowers in the richest of colors. It appears as if a spring storm has rolled in and drenched a fresh meadow with torrents of rain. This is one of the treasures from the Gliniany archives, which give us the opportunity to let this kilim bloom once again.
